Meet the 2025-2026 Board
The PTO Board is made of volunteer parents who have been nominated and voted into office. Each year, every PTO Board position is vacated and a new Board election takes place (April). The Board nomination forms are made available to all PTO members (Patterson parents and teachers) in March. We encourage all parents who would like to get more involved at Patterson to consider running for a Board position!
Ryann Masser
Co-President
I’m Ryann Masser, and I’m serving my fourth year as the PTO Co-President. I’m thrilled about another exciting year at Patterson! This year, I will have two boys attending Patterson—Camden in 6th grade and Maddox in 2nd. In addition to my volunteering at the school, I also work full-time. During my “free” time, you can find me on the sidelines cheering for my boys’ soccer teams!
Kristal Scott
Co-President
I’m Kristal Scott, and I’m excited to be returning for my second year on the PTO board. For the past 5 years, I’ve loved volunteering at Patterson wherever I can help, and it’s an honor to continue serving alongside this amazing team. My husband and I have two energetic boys at Patterson- Carter, who’s in 5th grade, and Nash, who’s in 2nd grade. By day, I’m a physical therapist; by night, a dedicated soccer mom! I’m looking forward to another great year working together with our wonderful parents, teachers, and staff to help make Patterson the best it can be!
Katie Orlowski

Hello, I’m Katie Orlowski! I’m so happy to be working with the PTO again this year. I have a son named Will going into 3rd grade and a daughter named Olivia who is going into 1st grade. Before having kids, I worked as a teacher in Alhambra District, Deer Valley Unified School District, and Queen Creek Unified. We love living in Adora Trails and eagerly anticipate a fantastic school year at Patterson!
Shanda Watts

Hi! I’m Shanda Watts and I’m excited to be serving on the PTO board as Secretary. I’ve been a Patterson parent since 2013, and four of my five kids have been Patterson students. My kids are Austin (27), Katie (23), McKenna (19), Ethan (17), and Kimberly (6), who is our last Patterson kiddo. I previously served as Volunteer Coordinator and helped lead the Art Masterpiece program for several years.
Outside of PTO life, I run a branding and web design agency and geek out over video games whenever I get the chance. I love helping our community grow and am always happy to support our amazing Patterson staff, students, and families.
Tricia Koch
Treasurer/Art Masterpiece
I’m Tricia Koch, your PTO Treasurer. I’ve been happily married to my husband Brian for 25 years, and we are blessed with three children. Ainsley, our 21-year-old, is beginning her second year as an elementary teacher. She’s married to Garrett. Aspen, our 18-year-old, just graduated from Basha High School, and Andrew, our 11-year-old, is in 5th grade. I taught for 9 years in various grades, including 6th, 1st, and as a math specialist. Currently, I substitute at Patterson. I absolutely LOVE volunteering at the school, whether it’s making copies, participating in Art Masterpiece, or being part of the PTO.

I’ve been a resident of Gilbert for 17 years, living here with my husband and two boys, aged 10 and 6.5 years old. My children have been students at Patterson since Kindergarten! I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as PTO support, where I can pamper and support the incredible Patterson staff throughout this school year.
Gretchen Bleeker

I’m Gretchen Bleeker and new to the PTO this year and part of the Support Crew. I’m a recent retiree from JPMorgan Chase after a 35 year career. My focus was in database architecture and financial portfolio reporting. I have lived in Adora Trails for almost 8 years near my daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters; Cora will be in 3rd grade and Charlotte will be in 1st grade at Patterson this year. I have volunteered at Patterson for a couple years now in Art Masterpiece and most recently in the copy room. Now that I’m retired and have more time to devote, I’m excited to expand my volunteerism by supporting the PTO who bring so many fun things to the students, teachers, and staff at Patterson.
Rose Farmer

 I’m Rose Farmer and I am excited to be part of the PTO this year! We have lived in Adora Trails since 2015. We have 3 children-Chris-a freshman at Basha High School, Jacob-6th grader at Patterson, and Juliana-4th grader at Patterson. I love helping out at the school and am looking forward to working with the teachers, staff, and fellow families of Patterson.
Audrey Kirk

Hi, I’m Audrey Kirk and I am new to the PTO this year! I have two sons attending Patterson – Miles in 5th grade, and Crosby in 2nd grade. We love living in Adora Trails, and we love Patterson! Before moving here, I was a School Counselor in Southern California, so I love being part of the school community and helping the students and staff wherever I can. I am excited to be part of the PTO Support Crew and looking forward to a great school year!

We Fundraise
Patterson PTO operates on an annual budget built upon donations, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts.
We raise funds for Patterson to make up for any CUSD budget deficit or for items that the CUSD budget are not allocated for. At the beginning of each school year, we survey the Patterson teachers and staff members to find out what the school could truly benefit from.
Our top FUNdraiser is our Progress for Patterson campaign, a direction donation drive that allows for 100% of all tax-deductible donations to stay at Patterson! Look for more information about #P4P in February.
PTO is proud to have put 60% of our budget directly back into the classrooms in the school year!

Governing Documents
Patterson PTO is governed by a set of approved by-laws and our annual operating budget. The current PTO by-laws and operating budget were approved at a General Meeting August 9, 2022.
